NLV Bears with the Snoop Youth Football Las Vegas League will host a day of family fun with lots of Food, Music, Drills & Activities, Bounce House, Giveaways & Raffle, and Participating Community Partners will donate items to Raffle and Coaches will be onsite to workout with kids. Pre Season Community BBQ will be on April 21, 2012 from 11am – 3pm at Seastrand Park in North Las Vegas. Bring your family and soak up the sun, meet your neighbors and look into sports programs for the upcoming summer.
Registration for the upcoming youth football season starting in August of this year will begin April 21 at our Community Event. Parents will have the opportunity to get information and register their child between the ages of 5 and 14 to play flag to contact football sports and cheer for the North Las Vegas Bears Football & Cheer Team. The NLV Bears have made it possible for families to participate in the sports program regardless of income limitations or financial restraints. NLV Bears provide opportunities through fundraising to cover the costs of their uniforms and equipment. This upcoming football season starts August 1st but NLV Bears have a host of conditions, training and cheer camps for interested players and cheerleaders. This spring NLV Bears will be having a Pre Season Barbecue April 21 to welcome families and the community to get involved with youth sports programs. Information will be provided on upcoming football season including safety, community and other resources.
The Bears have been invited to be a part of an On Camera Audience of the new NBC show American Warrior. NBC will make a fundraiser donation to our chapter. The donation is based on the amount of people that come in our group. We are trying to get 80+ people for Saturday, April 21st and 40+ for Sunday April 22nd. We will be required to be on the set from 7:30pm to 1:30am. Feel free to invite friends, family and associates over the age of 12.
