Bear Season is Opening Soon!

NLV Bears with the Snoop Youth Football Las Vegas League will host a day of family fun with lots of Food, Music, Drills & Activities, Bounce House, Giveaways & Raffle, and Participating Community Partners will donate items to Raffle and Coaches will be onsite to workout with kids.  Pre Season Community BBQ will be on April 21, 2012 from 11am – 3pm at Seastrand Park in North Las Vegas. Bring your family and soak up the sun, meet your neighbors and look into sports programs for the upcoming summer.

Registration for the upcoming youth football season starting in August of this year will begin April 21 at our Community Event.  Parents will have the opportunity to get information and register their child between the ages of 5 and 14 to play flag to contact football sports and cheer for the North Las Vegas Bears Football & Cheer Team.  Visit www.nlvbears.com for registration, team and league information or contact (702) 785-8900.  Registration hours are from 11am – 12pm on April 21st at Pre Season Community BBQ.   Media is welcome to cover this event or interview coaches, players and community partners with McDonald's and Snoop Youth Football Las Vegas.  Please contact Vanessa McConnell vanessa@vnewz.net for media credentials.    

The NLV Bears have made it possible for families to participate in the sports program regardless of income limitations or financial restraints.  NLV Bears provide opportunities through fundraising to cover the costs of their uniforms and equipment.  This upcoming football season starts August 1^st but NLV Bears have a host of conditions, training and cheer camps for interested players and cheerleaders.  This spring NLV Bears will be having a Pre Season Barbecue April 21 to welcome families and the community to get involved with youth sports programs.  Information will be provided on upcoming football season including safety, community and other resources.

We are CELEBRATING our Jr. Midget Division's Undefeated Record & Championship Opportunity against the Compton Vikings in Costa Mesa's Championship Game in Jan 2012!!

North Las Vegas Bears Football and Cheer is an organization administered by a volunteer board representing the North Las Vegas Community at large, whose mission is to: Provide a quality recreational opportunity for children of all skills and levels. North Las Vegas Bears has served the community of North Las Vegas for over 20 years comprising the coaches, mentors and trainers from the community organized and lead the team to Championships. The NLV Bears program is comprised of children between the ages of 5 and 13 on the season year and participates in the Snoop Youth Football League of Nevada. The purpose of the NLV Bears is to promote youth football and cheerleading in the City of North Las Vegas and surrounding areas within Clark County.

NLV Bears promote the development of leadership, character, sportsmanship, tolerance, discipline and athletic ability, as well as to nurture youth fitness, volunteerism and a lifelong love of sports. They also provide every child with the opportunity of playing or cheering regardless of financial restraints.
